The Dukes Theatre Company presents Shakespeares Romeo and Juliet, a bold reimagining of the iconic tragedy directed by Joseph Pitcher. Pitchers acclaimed credits include Gypsy (UK Theatre Award for Best Musical Production) and My Fair Lady at The Mill at Sonning, and Macbeth at the Salomons Theatre, Tunbridge Wells. Returning to the company following Macbeth (2025), this vibrant production also features original music by composerRob Millett (Rambert Dance Company and The Royal Opera House, The National Theatre and Shakespeares Globe).Audience Advisory:
This performance of Romeo and Juliet contains themes and depictions of war, death, suicide and violence, which may be distressing for some viewers. Viewer discretion is advised, and it is recommended for ticket holders aged seven and above.Running time:

Seating is not provided. Please bring fold up garden chairs, camping chairs or blankets. People on blankets will be advised to sit in the first 5 metres in front of the stage. The production is supported by a PA system, with each actor individually amplified.Getting Here:
From the A46 going south, take the exit for Stoneleigh
1. Turn left on to Stoneleigh Road
2. At the crossroads, turn right onto the Ashow Road (B4115)
3. Turn left into Stoneleigh Abbey
4. Continue down the driveway and over the bridge.

1. Take the A46 towards Warwick and Coventry
2. Pass the M40 Junction, and continue on the A46 and take the exit for Leamington Spa (A452)
3. Turn left onto the Ashow road (opposite the Chesford Grange Hotel)
4. Turn right into Stoneleigh Abbey
5. Continue down the driveway and over the bridge.

There is ample, secure parking on site. Parking is free of charge. Entrance is through the Ticket Office.Accessibility:
There will be available access without steps to the grounds. However please note there are gravel pathways. We have accessible Toilets, however these are located in the main house, where we have lift access into.Dogs:
Except for assistance/guide dogs, we regret that we cannot admit any dogs or other pets to our performances. We appreciate that most dogs are well behaved, but it only takes one pinched meat pie or canine stage invasion, and chaos ensues! It has to be one rule for all.Toilets:
Toilets are located within the House, there are a few steps down to the house and a lift into the house if required disabled and baby changing unit available."Food and Drink:
Our Tea Room will be open before the performance and during the interval serving drinks and snacks. This can be enjoyed in our out door seating area or within our Tea Room. We kindly ask you do not bring your own picnic and support the local businesses.Weather and Cancellations:
