Organ Recital With Timothy Rice

Join us for an afternoon of music with organist Timothy Rice.Built in 1727, with preserved original features earning Grade II status, the Ringwood Meeting House and History Centre is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy a musical afternoon.Timothy Rice has 50 years' experience as an Organist. He is currently Director of Music at St. John's Church, Boldre, in the New Forest. He began his life in church music at the age of six as a chorister at his local church; the first few weeks being spent near the organist at the console, watching and listening in fascination at the skill of the organist and the sound of the instrument. At 13 he took his first organist's post, under the guidance and encouragement of a vicar who was also a gifted church musician and conductor of a major choral society; the rest, as they say, is history. In 1989, Timothy became an Associate of the Royal College of Organists and he is also an Associate of the London College of Music.Saturday 24th October
