What's New in the Archives

Would you like to discover new archival material? Tyne & Wear Archives is offering a chance to view newly catalogued archive material, much of which has never been seen before.

You'll also have the opportunity to join a guided behind the scenes tour of the archives store - home to some very important documents including our oldest charter which dates back to 1183.

This event forms part of a regular series of events that will showcase new archival material.Please note that, due to the physical nature of the archive stores, the behind-the-scenes tour is not accessible for wheelchair or mobility scooter users.
