With her dynamic vocals & fun personality Michelles dreams came true, singing & sailing to all 7 continents. Turning professional at 16 in Malta as a dancer & progressing to ships at 17.
In love with life at sea and with The Prince's Trust award under her belt shes had a varied career with credits as an actress, presenter, guest entertainer and has been involved with television work in the UK & Europe. Michelle has worked with many stars including Dame Shirley Bassey.
In 1999 she was outright winner of Sound-on-Sound International Singing Competition, which took her to New York to record at the famous SAE studios and later to London & Italy. She featured on UK TVs Loose Women & performed at Wembley, modelling for Avon & in 2018 for the X factor series.The Colin Yates Big band formed in 1977 at the Windmill Club in Rotherham, UK and is still thriving today. The band has performed a at vast number of concerts, dances, jazz festivals & corporate events throughout the UK. The bands repertoire is extensive and can recreate many musical styles including Glenn Miller, Count Basie & Stan Kenton.
