A workshop where you'll build a show's soundtrack from scratch: edit music and effects in Audacity, then cue them up in SCS like a pro.Every doorbell, thunderclap and burst of music in a show has to come from somewhere.
In this hands-on session you'll build a show's soundtrack from scratch: editing music and effects in Audacity, then programming them into SCS, the software we use to cue and play sound live.This is the second of two sound sessions that work as a pair, following Sound 1: The Sound System (8 November).
Complete both and you'll be ready to help run sound for real productions on our stage.
No experience needed, though a love of a well-timed thunderclap helps.The kettle's on from 10am, and the session runs 10.30am to 12.30pm. 5 HIADS members, 10 public.
