Catherine Opie & Del LaGrace Volcano: Radical Imagery

This year, EAF (Edinburgh Art Festival) welcomes the radical work of two cult American photographers: Catherine Opie and Del LaGrace Volcano.

Volcano’s Love Bites Back is an exhibition of dyke photography, while Opie’s To Be Seen features nearly 80 portraits of those commonly missing from mainstream art history.

Both pioneering photographers, they join Kim McAleese, director of EAF, and author and curator Gemma Rolls-Bentley, to speak about their work and their portrayal of often invisible communities.
