Rochdale Music Stories Presents: Kenion Street Listening Party

Rough Trade Liverpool is very excited to present a listening party to celebrate ‘Kenion Street’ the latest combilation album from Alcopop!Rochdale has a remarkable musical heritage, having shaped artists from Gracie Fields and Lisa Stansfield to Joy Division, The Stone Roses and OMD through its iconic Cargo and Suite 16 studios.

As Greater Manchester Town of Culture 2025, the town is celebrating this legacy with Rochdale Music Stories, a new project featuring emerging local artists/bands reimagining classic tracks recorded on Kenion Street, released as the limited-edition album Kenion Street.

Following a sold-out hometown show by OMD, Peter Hook & The Light and A Certain Ratio, you can experience the album at a special Rochdale Hour listening hour at Rough Trade stores in London, Bristol, Nottingham and Liverpool, complete with complimentary Phoenix Brewery beers, Rochdale themed gift bags and the chance to buy the record.RSVP tickets do NOT come with an album.All attendees will receive exclusive free goodies, while stocks last.Presented by Rough Trade.All Ages
