His performances explore the expressive possibilities of the sitar, creating music that is both deeply rooted in tradition and engaging for modern audiences.

He will be joined by Janan Sathiendran on tabla, whose rhythmic artistry will complement the melodic depth of the sitar. This intimate lunchtime performance offers audiences an opportunity to experience the beauty, subtlety and spontaneity of Indian classical music in a relaxed setting.

The concert will explore the intricate relationship between melody and rhythm, allowing audiences to experience the dialogue between sitar and tabla and the improvisational nature of the tradition. We warmly invite audiences to take a break from their day and join us for an inspiring lunchtime musical experience with two wonderful musicians. We hope this concert will introduce new audiences to Indian classical music while also offering those familiar with the tradition an opportunity to enjoy a special live performance.
