TCHAIKOVSKY Symphony no. 6 in B minor, Op. 74 'Pathetique'In an evening filled with music full of beauty and intensity, this concert sees our first ever performance of a work by German composer Emilie Mayer (often known as 'the female Beethoven'): her F minor Symphony from 1856, which is widely acclaimed as one of her very best compositions.
