"Last night I dreamt I went to Manderley again.."Haunting, ruthless, passionate and dramatic, NWBT is proud to present the return of our much loved production of Rebecca's Tale.
Alongside two other fantastical works - The Symphonists and the much anticipated, brand new interpretation of Sylvia by acclaimed choreographer and dancer Joseph Isaac Powell-Main.Rebecca's Tale delves into the dark and brooding tale of a naïve young woman, who's new husband is hiding a terrible and foreboding secret, that could destroy them both.
The specter of the past is always just behind them both.
A story that silently screams of the self destruction of festering guilt and how to choose between what is right and what is easy. The Symphonists is a superb breath of fresh air and a stunning execution of neo classical ballet at its best.
Exploring the sounds, support and dynamics to music and sound within a classical orchestra, this abstract ballet promises to "hear and dancing and see the sound".Lastly a bright and uplifting tale set in the misty origins of the ancient Greek God's, NWBT is ecstatic to bring you the premier of this exciting and sparkling new interpretation of the myth of Sylvia.
One of the oldest ballet's has a fresh new look and humanising examination.
Bringing the lofty God's down to the stage with a bump and sharp pirouettes for good measure. This dynamic mix promises something for everyone and NWBT can't wait to show you ballet as you have never seen, expected or dreamt it could be.
