Recognized world-wide as one of the leading singers of his time and as a brilliant actor, Sir Bryn Terfel returns to Gower to celebrate the Festivals fiftieth anniversary.
People still recall Bryns first appearance here back in 1989, as a student.
We can be sure that this evenings concert will be every bit as memorable, with harpist Hannah Stone and pianist Annabel Thwaite.
The programme will include operatic arias, Lieder, and Welsh folk songs. This concert will 'kick-off' the Festival's 50th Anniversary and will be introduced by our President Sir Karl Jenkins.Capel y Crwys, the so-called Cathedral of Gower, will prove a memorably 'intimate' venue, quite unlike the vast arenas commonly played by Sir Bryn.
Ticket sales are necessarily complicated by the venue division, not only of upstairs and downstairs, but also the right-hand and left-hand sides are separated and the pews have many dividing barriers.
Choose your seats carefully, bearing in mind stair access for upstairs.Photo: Mitch Jenkins 03-11-25
