Join us for a talk with David Thorold, Curator of Collections (Prehistoric to Medieval) at St Albans Museums on Life in Roman St Albans (Verulamium).Explore the vibrant Roman city of Verulamium, one of the most important urban centres in Roman Britain.

This talk uncovers new insights into its public buildings, bustling streets, and the people who lived, worked, and worshipped there.

Join us to discover how ongoing archaeological research continues to reshape our understanding of Roman St Albans and its place in the wider story of Britannia. We are very fortunate to have a fantastic selection of objects on temporary loan from St Albans in our current exhibition- Town and Country: Life in Roman Durolitum.

You'll be able to have a look at these objects at the end of the talk. The talk runs 78pm, with doors opening at 6.45pm. 7.00 per person, with light refreshments available.
