Sensory Processing in the Early Years / Prosesu Synhwyraidd Yn Y Blynyddoedd Cynnar

This training looks at what is Sensory Integration in terms of how sensory information is taken in, registered and organised for a response in relation to the 8 senses i.e. sight, sound, taste, smell, touch, proprioception, vestibular and interoception (with increased focus on the last 4). It looks at how sensory integration develops specifically in the early years and the importance of functional sensory integration. It then goes onto explore sensory processing differences in terms of being over or under reactive and strategies which would help.
