Storm Deva and Lesoir will appear for a double headline lunchtime/afternoon gig.“We cannot wait,” says Storm Deva founding member and guitarist Stuart Clark, “We played our first full band gig at this venue a couple of years ago, it’s a special place for us.”Storm Deva is a five-piece band that combines rock, classical, folk and world influences to produce a set of unique songs, with lyrics rich in natural imagery. Their eponymously titled first album was released independently in December 2023 to critical acclaim. In summer 2024, their single Free topped Prog Magazine’s Tracks of the Week reader’s Poll.“This time, we’ll be previewing material from our forthcoming second album, We’re really fired up about the new material, and what a treat to be teamed up with Lesoir,” says Clark.Formed in 2009, Lesoir is a five-piece band hailing from Maastricht, Netherlands. Now enjoying a global fan base, in 2019 and 2023, they toured with prog legends Riverside. Lesoir’s latest album, Push Back The Horizon, is out now on V2 Records, and they are currently recording a follow-up.
“London Prog Gigs is a driving force and has always been very supportive of Lesoir. It’s an honour to return to London once again under their wings. We will definitely have some new tunes on the setlist!” says Lesoir guitarist and founding member Ingo Dassen. Both bands are known for their unique musical landscapes, and their complete commitment to bringing their songs to life in a live environment.
