Pg Prize Winners’ Concert With Twee Dang and Xian Wu

This concert is generously supported by Robert Edward Jones Legacy Fund.Vietnamese pianist Twee Dang is an internationally active performer whose musical language reflects a rich dialogue between cultures.

Xian Wu is a Chinese pianist based in Manchester, currently undertaking a PhD in Music.

Both have recently completed the Master’s in Music (Performance Studies) degree at UoM, where they were awarded the Recital Prize.In this concert they present a selection of solos and duets by Antonin Dvo?ák, Carlos Gustavino, Elena Kats-Chernin, Franz Liszt, D?ng H?u Phúc, Camille Saen-Saëns, and the first performance of a new work by Sadie Harrison.The Thursday lunchtime concerts are part of the Walter Carroll Lunchtime Concert Series, which is supported by the Ida Carroll Trust.
