plus special guests The CurtainsIn April 2025, My Pet Rocket joined forces with producer Robin Wynn Evans at T-Pot studios in Path of Condie to record their debut album Last of the Analogue Superheroes, which will be officially launched at this show.Petra Jolly (vocals and guitar) began making music as My Pet Rocket after returning to Perth from LA where she had established herself as a singer/songwriter, working with Serj Tankian from System Of A Down and releasing an EP with The Pop Project. The current lineup came together in 2022 and comprises Owen Nicholson (guitars, synth guitar and vocals), Kevin Skelly (bass, vocals) and John McAvoy (drums). Their music joyfully recalls the summer of 1979, when bands like The Cars, Blondie and The Police co-existed - basically punk rock roots with pop sensibilities!Legendary Perth punk band The Curtains will open this brilliant night of locally sourced music.
