Step Up to Youth Work is an exciting and welcoming programme designed to support young people as they transition into secondary school and develop important life skills. Open to young people in Year 6 and Year 7, the sessions provide a safe and engaging space to build confidence, make new friends, learn new skills, and develop a sense of belonging.Each week, participants can take part in a variety of fun and interactive activities including cooking, team games, sports, social activities, and dedicated chill-out time with friends. Young people will also have opportunities to hear from guest speakers and explore issues that affect them, helping them build resilience, knowledge, and confidence.The programme encourages personal development, positive relationships, teamwork, and community involvement, while providing a supportive environment where young people can have fun and be themselves.Venue: Rawtenstall Family Hub and The Zone, Old Fire Station, BB4 8EW
Time: 3:30pm to 5:30pm
Dates: 17th September to 17th December
