Draw on, Sweet Night

In the 400th anniversary year of John Dowland’s death, tenor Kieran White joins Republic of Viols for their first collaboration, exploring music of sleep, melancholy and dream-like vision. Alongside Dowland’s songs, the viol consort performs dances from Dowland’s Lachrimae, interwoven with music by Dowland’s contemporaries and a touch of French air de cour.
