The Iconic Works of Robert Mouseman Thompson
To celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the birth of Robert Thompson in May 1876, we are delighted to be hosting a talk & lunch. Our in-house Mouseman specialist Diane Sinnott will offer insight into some of Mousemans most iconic early pieces of furniture such as the Hutch, the evolution of the Monks Chair, and selected important commissions. Diane will also discuss Mouseman master carvers including George Weightman and Stan Dodds.Timings
10am-11am - Optional behind the scenes tour (Additional 10)
11am - Arrival for those not attending the tour. Tea/coffee served.
11.30am Talk by Diane Sinnott followed by Q&A session
