Building (Super) Heroic Worlds

Join comic book creator, filmmaker, and inventor of Scotland’s first ever black superhero, Etienne Kubwabo, for a creative workshop about building worlds that superheroes might exist in.

Starting with an illustrated talk about the inspiration for his debut comic book, ‘Beats of War’, which has now sold over 50,000 copies worldwide, Etienne guides participants to imagine and create their own worlds based on landmarks around them and featuring their own cultural reference points.

No writing or comic book experience is required - beginners welcome!
