Bioblitz at Sydenham Hill and Dulwich Wood: Galls

About the eventA Bioblitz is a communal effort to record as many species within a designated location and time period as possible. Using the iNaturalist app, Tom will guide you around Sydenham Hill Wood and Dulwich Wood where you will be learning to identify your observations while contributing to the database of species living within the woodland. This walk will focus on galls, distinctive abnormal growths formed by trees' protective reaction to chemicals secreted by feeding insects, mites, bacteria, or fungi.Download iNaturalist for Android here
