Birthing partners and observers invited to welcome "Pump Out Some Kids" - the first single from The Oozes debut album - into 'the real world' from the throbbing and fertile live room at The Cav!A song about bodily autonomy and TERF groups influence on trans healthcare, "Pump Out Some Kids" was written from a place of desperate frustration with medical neglect and misinformation, within a system plagued by misogyny and transphobia.
The song is intended to prompt consideration into how societal pressures to reproduce and the valuation of people on their ability to breed, impacts and harms various communities in addition to cisgender women.
The fight for autonomy in medicine is the fight for a system that is educated and equipped for all bodies.Live music, zines, merch, drinks, dancing, shouting, clowns, enrichment and entertainmentCome along and help us celebrate the delivery of our screaming newborn ooze, from the cavernous depths of our hearts into the gaping canals of your ear holes.Presented by The Oozes. This is an 18+ event
