The Talented Mr. Ripley

In the 1950s, a penniless but ambitious young man Tom Ripley attracts the attention of elderly rich American, who hires him to bring his son, Dickie Greenleaf, back to the US.

The spoiled young Greenleaf has settled in Italy for a 'prolonged' holiday with his fiancée on his father's expenses.

Tom Ripley, who has never known such a luxurious life, sees an opportunity to join the world he has always dreamed of, but when Dickie grows tired of Tom’s constant presence he is ready to do anything to stay within the privileged circle.
