The Scottish Community Drama’s One-Act Play Festival is a much-loved theatre tradition and the climax of the Association’s centenary year.
The festival presents eight short plays over three nights, Thursday 23rd to Saturday 25thApril 2026.Performances start at 7pm with three plays on Thursday and Friday nights and two on Saturday.
The eight plays are the best of Scottish community drama; all having won through from District and Divisional rounds of the festival held over the past few months.The plays will be adjudicated by Walker Ewart from Northern Ireland, who will choose the winning play to represent Scotland at the British Final at Mold in North Wales in July.
