Mark came to see Haunted Shadows and had this to say about it:
E. Nesbit was far more than just the creator of The Railway Children. In this beguiling one-woman show, Claire Louise Amias takes us into the dark heart of the legendary writer's ghost stories unexpected, wonderfully weird and with a very particular Edwardian atmosphere.
This timely adaptation of Nesbits Gothic tales was first performed at Islingtons Old Red Lion Theatre in 2024, the centenary of Nesbits death. It was subsequently performed at the White Bear Theatre in Kennington in 2025, then toured the UK from 25 October 2025 to 10 January 2026 to critical acclaim and many sold-out performances.
