Back by popular demand, we invite the family and friends of Stage 84 students, members of the local community and general public to join us for an afternoon of good food, quality entertainment and great company!Throughout the afternoon, you will enjoy listening to songs from popular musicals performed by some of our very own Stage 84 students, whilst indulging in a delicious afternoon tea. Vegetarian and gluten free options are available on request.You will enjoy a selection of sandwiches, savoury pastries, cakes and scones, served with butter, cream and jam. Vegetarian and gluten free options are available on request, just let us know when you book. Tea or coffee is included with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available to purchase from our licensed bar.Friends of Stage 84 is a volunteer-led organisation established to support and promote participation in the performing arts, with a particular focus on singing, dance, drama and musical theatre.Through our fundraising and community events, we raise funds to provide resources, equipment and opportunities that enhance performing arts education and participation for children and young people. We also support opportunities for our students to perform and engage with audiences beyond the classroom, helping to build confidence, develop skills and promote the performing arts within our local community.Alongside our support for the performing arts, we are also committed to giving back to our wider community. This year, 10% of the proceeds raised through Friends of Stage 84 events will be donated to our chosen charity, Yorkshire Childrens Charity.
Yorkshire Childrens Charity works across Yorkshire to improve the lives of children and young people experiencing disadvantage through disability, ill health or financial circumstances, helping them and their families to access practical support and positive opportunities.By supporting one or more of our events, you are helping us to raise funds for the performing arts, create opportunities for children and young people to participate and perform, and make a positive contribution to our wider community.This event is recommended for: Anyone over the age of 7, families and friends of Stage 84, local community, general public
