As one guest shared last year:
Myself and Brad had a wonderful afternoon! It was fabulous to see how much local young talent we have in the area, and the afternoon tea was simply delicious. Brad would also like to say that he would love to attend anything similar now that we know he can access the building. Cath, local community memberWe look forward to welcoming you, whether youre a Stage 84 family, a friend, or simply someone who loves great music and good company. The Friends of Stage 84 are raising money to support Stage 84, The Yorkshire School of Performing Arts and purchase new equipment, such as new stage lighting equipment for The Old Bell Chapel. This will be used at future fundraising/community events, Stage 84 summer schools, and other various events facilitated throughout the year. In addition, this year we are raising money for our chosen charity, Candlelighters Yorkshire. Candlelighters is a Yorkshire charity supporting children with cancer and their families through every step of their journey, emotionally, practically, and financially. They also fund vital research to help more children survive cancer and live well during and after treatment.10% of the proceeds raised by the Friends of Stage 84 this year will be donated to the Candlelighters charity. By being a part of one or more of our events in the coming months, you will be helping to support these wonderful causes. This event is recommended for: Anyone over the age of 7, families and friends of Stage 84, local community, general public
Focus of the event: Afternoon tea, local community, getting together, singing, open to the public, food and drink
