Montague John Druittwas a local man, born in Wimborne and educated locally. He was one of the chief suspects in the case, even his own family thought he was guilty.
Frederick George Abberline,Chief Inspector of Scotland Yard at the time of the murders, was born inBlandford Forum and lived in Bournemouth.This locally written play tells the fascinating story and challenges the legends surrounding the Ripper and the women whose identities were defined by their tragic deaths. Our production includes historic content, the personal involvement and the enduring mystery of one of the most famous of unsolved cases.
