Creative Class: Calligraphy With Jacquie Brachi

Fee: 79.50Students will learn a range of skills that can be applied to write letters, cards and invitations as well as create beautiful artwork for the home.This term you will study the Italic hand which is suitable for all levels. We will look at a 16th Century Script and use it as our model.The italic hand is one of the most versatile scripts that lends itself to being adapted and it can create versions from very formal to ultra modern. Small projects will be completed during the term and we will be using square cut dip nibs with ink and/or gouache.Please bring a pencil and paper for the first class.
