An Exhibition of the remarkable friendship between General Jose de San Martin, the Liberator of Argentina, Chile, Ecuador and Peru; and James Duff, 4th Earl Fife, including his visit to Banff in 1824, an event that is still celebrated today. The visit resulted in a plan of how to convince the British Government to recognise the new South American states, which took place in January 1825.
