On The Move

Join us for the culmination of On The Move! This exciting project has seen young people from Firs Primary School and Oakwood Junior School take an exciting journey through the science of transport and travel.

Through science and creative music workshops, the children have been learning all about how and why we travel, and creating their own original songs which they can't wait to share with you!They'll be joined by young singers from Derby Cathedral's Music in Schools programme, creative music leader James Redwood, and a talented quintet from the Sinfonia Viva orchestra.

Expect to hear brand new songs created especially for the project, alongside some exciting instrumental pieces, in what is sure to be a memorable evening of brilliant music.
