Braw Gigs returns to Bannermans on the 8th September to welcome one of the most mysterious and spine-tingling underground acts from North America the eerie Akchamel, performing their plague ridden folk-death rites straight from the vulture strewn deserts of Texas.Akchamel has built a solid reputation as a compelling stage project.

Wearing nightmarish costumes and engaging in hallucinatory rituals, their singular sound comprising desert-scorched psychedelia, post-apocalyptic shamanism, and lo-fi ritual-folk is as unique as the physical theatre of their live performances.Authors of around fifteen cassettes, three vinyl LP's, several cryptic VHS videos and their reels have generated millions of views.
