Friday Crafternoon - Wool Painting

Our Crafternoon session are held at The Old Library cafe on the third Friday of the month between 2.30pm - 4.30pm.
These monthly sessions are a fun way to try out a new craft each month and get creative together.Delve into the enchanting world of needle felting, at this months Crafternoon session we will be trying our hand at wool painting and create a stunning needle felted wool paintingNeedle felting is a unique and beautiful form of fibre art that involves layering and felting wool fibres onto a base fabric to create some type of picture. This technique is also known as 2D needle felting or 'wool painting'.Using needle felting we will make a picture of either a forest scene, a landscape or seascape, which will be finished in a 5" embroidery hoop. You will need to decide on booking which picture you would like to make.All materials provided - just bring your creativity!Places are limited and booking is essential.
