Kebed Songs: A Somali Weaving Songs Workshop with Ibrahim HirsiJoin poet Ibrahim Hirsi at Cartwright Hall for an afternoon exploring Somali weaving songs, known as kebed songs.
We'll listen to and discuss these songs together, then experiment with their rhythm and form as inspiration to write songs of our own.
