The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace is a mass by Welsh composer Karl Jenkins written in reflection of the passing of the most war-torn and destructive century in human history and as a message of hope that the world of the future would have more peace and fewer wars.This event is often popular with singers and is set to be another highlight in the year. The suggested dress code is black bottom and a single colour top, but we always say wed rather singers be comfortable than not sing because they havent got the right thing to wear.If travelling by train, the church is about a 10 minute taxi ride from the station.
There is unrestricted parking onthe roads surrounding the church.
The number 7 bus route runsalong Kimbolton Road from the town centreand the nearest stop is just a short walk away.The hall will be open all afternoon so you can stay there between rehearsal and the performance (usually 1.5hrs) or there is a nice pub serving food just across the road.
