RCS & BBC SSO: Emerging Conductors Showcase 2026

Join the cream of young conducting talent from across the UK and beyond for an afternoon with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra.

Featuring Brahms’ Third Symphony and the Tuba Concerto by Ralph Vaughan Williams, this showcase is the culmination of a five-day conducting course with the orchestra and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s Visiting Professor of Conducting, Martyn Brabbins.

The event is jointly presented by the BBC SSO and RCS.
