Kanga Art Workshop

Led by local Tanzanian artist Natasha Sweeting, explore this garments rich history, cultural meaning, and vibrant visual language then create your own painted Kanga inspired composition to take home.

This workshop welcomes anyone with an interest in art, colour, textiles and cultural history.

Suitable for ages 12+, and no prior artistic experience is required.

All materials are provided, including acrylic paints, brushes & 40cm x 60cm canvas panel.Evening session only - The Shires close their doors at 6pm so entry must be before then.

If you arrive late and cannot get in, we cannot offer a refund. at the end of the session we will all be leaving the build together by the Asda entrance to the Shires.
