With the new album featuring guest appearances from Beans on Toast and Samantics, and once again produced by Dutty Moonshine Big Band’s production genius, ‘Binge’, Funke’s 5th LP stands head and shoulders above anything he has done so far on his long and dedicated music career.The new record contains all the elements of blues, electronica and ferocity that Funke’s been evolving for the last 15 years, but distils it further down with tighter production, a fuller embrace of dance music culture and an ever-growing arsenal of instruments and repertoire.
