Activities include uncovering the dates of historic maps, transcription of handwritten letters, discovering clues in audio recordings, creating your own captions for photographs! The University of Exeter's Special Collections is home to a wide range of archive collections, rare books and manuscripts.

Within our collection you will find material relating to South West writers, Victorian culture, the Middle East, the history of the university, environmental issues and much more! Examples from some these collections will feature in the activities and puzzles, so come along and learn more about Special Collections and being an archivist. The event is free (no booking required) and is suitable for ages 6+.
