Rooted in African, Irish, and Southern Black and white storytelling traditions, Ben Jordan weaves songs that draw on the enduring power of story to connect, heal, and provoke reflection. Blending indie-folk songcraft, improvisational instinct, and a deep respect for musical lineage, his music is as much an offering as a performance.A mixed-race American musician from Denver, Colorado and raised in a white adoptive family, Bens life has straddled different worlds from the very beginning. This unique background informs every note of his music - a tapestry woven from African and Irish folklore, the lyricism of the American heartland, and the grit of a global troubadours life on the road. Now based in London,, Ben has toured extensively throughout the US, UK, and Europe. His live performances - part ballad, part foot-stomping rocker, part cathartic storytelling, and part comedy leave audiences both laughing and spellbound, always rooted in raw honesty and genuine connection.Ben has shared stages with artists including Gregory Alan Isakov, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Yola, Rhiannon Giddens, Alabama 3, and The Dodge Brothers. His recent work includes Dream Invisible and the ongoing Hymns Beneath the White Noise EP series - a three-part
collection featuring collaborators from Colorado, the UK, and legendary Lamb of God guitarist Mark Morton. At every show, Ben invites listeners to gather around the shared fire of song, where stories and melodies - old and new - find fresh life in the telling.
