Festival of Transport

New for 2026, join us for a special weekend as we celebrate the Festival of Transport at the Avon Valley Railway.Expect to see everything from Sentinel steam lorries to Penny Farthings, from vintage motor cycles to military vehicles in this celebration of vintage vehicles.On the 26th & 27th September, expect to find Morris dancers, performances from local choirs, vintage transport films, live music, as well as vintage transport displays, right here at Bitton station.
