With support from Napoleon Da LegendJoin us for the only chance to see Wax Tailor live in the UK this year, as he brings his special Solo Set + Video Show to the immersive surroundings of the CULTVR Dome.Wax Tailor is one of the pioneering figures of the French independent hip-hop and electronic scene. After spending a decade developing his craft as a DJ, producer, composer and manager, he broke through internationally with the 2004 EP Lost The Way, followed by his landmark debut album Tales of the Forgotten Melodies (2005), now regarded as a classic of the genre.Over the past two decades, Wax Tailor has built an international career with 7 studio albums, a live album recorded at the Olympia in Paris, numerous EPs and more than 600 concerts across over 50 countries, performing for more than one million spectators worldwide.
His work has earned three nominations for Best Electronic Album at the French Victoires de la Musique, the Independent Music Award in the United States, and the SACEM Grand Prize for Electronic Music.Throughout his career, he has collaborated with a wide range of acclaimed artists including Sharon Jones, Ghostface Killah, Tricky, Lee Fields, Aloe Blacc, Mark Lanegan, R.A The Rugged Man, Mike Jenkins Charlie Winston, Del The Funky Homosapien, Ursula Rucker, Jennifer Charles, Elzhi while also producing remixes for artists such as Nina Simone, Ayo and Asa.Recognised for his cinematic sound, meticulous production and fiercely independent approach, Wax Tailor has established himself as one of the leading ambassadors of the French electronic and hip-hop scene, continuing to evolve while remaining true to his distinctive artistic identity.Date: 17th October
