Mini Museum Explorers: October 2026

Sessions take place on 20 October, 10–11am and 11:15am–12:15pm.Designed for children aged 2½ to 5, these relaxed, hands-on sessions invite you to explore the museum together.

Join your child as they discover science and history through play, with plenty of opportunities to get involved, create and learn side by side at the Natural History Museum.This month, we’re getting cosy as we explore hibernation.

What is it, and why do some animals sleep for so long? Little explorers will uncover the secrets of the natural world through craft, counting activities and even den building, all brought to life through playful, engaging activities.KS1 home educators are welcome at the 11:15 session.
