DanceLive 2026 Alien Aquatic

Plastic waste is having a devastating effect in the sea.Dudendance imagines a new Alien Species emerge when plastics mutate into living beings.Originally an outdoor performance for beaches the costumes combine organic forms with artificial materials – costumes that suggest sea creatures transform into trash.

This specially adapted version combines film, performance from a live choir and film to create an other-worldly immersive experience.

Guest artists include Fabiana Galante (Argentina), singing trio Tripple and Fiona Soe Paing (NE Scotland), members of Con Anima Choir (Aberdeen) and dancers from Germany and Scotland.
