New Cross Live and Modern Misery Promotions Presents:FlamebearerFormed late 2021 Flamebearer are Doom-tinged all out heavy metal featuring members of 1968, Decomposed, Oak, Mourn, Blood Island Raiders, Brule and Mocho Diablo.Fronted by Andy Valiant formally of Oak and current 1968 frontman, Flamebearer are inspired by classic 70s rock, 80s metal, all the way from The Cult to Cathedral.The hard rocking quartet have just released their debut album 'Brazen' (independent), produced by Wayne Adams (producer of Green Lung's recent This Heathen Land).'The energy of songs on 'Brazen' has come very naturally to us as really we just wanted to get people moving in the crowd and wake people back up a bit after time apart during lockdown.
