Malvern Spa Association: Restoring Ancient Wells by Charlotte Emily Rose

Charlotte unearthed her first well over twenty years ago. The well lay buried in her grandparents garden in her hometown of Kinsale, on the South West Coast of Ireland. In the past few years she set about finding the other long forgotten old spring wells of the town and has now found over 100. With friends, she has been clearing and restoring many of them.
The unearthing of the towns rich water legacy, brought with it the revealing of rich layers of forgotten heritage.
Her talk will inspire people to see their surroundings with a new light and the rich water heritage that is the foundation of every old town on earth. It will awaken us all to remembering that we ourselves are wells and our well-being is dependent on the health of our waters.
