Port Sunlight Brass Band grew out of the Boy's Brigade Drum & Bugle Band in 1973. They now include female players and members of all age groups.

They now include female players and members of all age groups.
They entered their 1st contest in 1978.
The band continues to grow in membership and has 30 members registered with the Brass Band Registry. which controls competition entry.
Other members join them for local concerts which take up the majority if the Band's performance time through the year.
Local concerts include support for the village of Port Sunlight in the various venues and especially at Christ Church, the United Reformed Church in the village.
