The Forger's Game Exhibition With David Henty

Former art forger David Henty, who became known for producing remarkably convincing recreations of works by artists including Picasso, Van Gogh, Lowry, Vermeer and Caravaggio, is bringing a new collection to Helm Gallery in Brighton this October.

Visitors can get up close to a selection of Henty's hand-painted recreations and put their own eye to the test to see what they would - or wouldn't - spot.

The collection offers a rare chance to look closely at the brushwork, style and tiny details that can make a copy feel remarkably convincing.
