Maritime Archaeology

A half-day event about Maritime Archaeology, which will include speakers from Historic England and Bournemouth University.
We will be looking at the discovery, recording and protection of undersea sites in our area and also at heritage crime. Wrecks give an insight of past trade and the importance of harbours will be examined. Light refreshments will be provided.
