William Tyler - Barty's Kirkcaldy

Born to parents who were country music songwriters of repute, in Nashville Tennessee on Christmas Day of 1979, William Tyler is a`cosmic country' composer and musician who plays in a folk/country-folk and pop-rock mode. William was guitarist with Lambchop between 1998 and 2010 (playing on their classic big seller `Is a Woman' amongst other records) plus played with US underground/indie heroes Silver Jews between 2001 and 2009.
William has released 7 solo albums since 2010, on notable US indie labels such as Merge and Thrill Jockey, with his latest album Time Indefinite coming out on Psychic Hotline in spring of 2025.
He also released 41 Longfield Street Late 80s, a collaboration with Four Tet, in autumn 2025.
