HHTheatreCo are very proud to present our upcoming musical; Come From AwayCome From Away is a powerful and uplifting musical based on the true events following the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

When U.S. airspace was shut down, 38 planes carrying nearly 7,000 passengers were unexpectedly diverted to the small town of Gander, Newfoundland.

Overnight, this remote community nearly doubled in size, and its residents sprang into action to welcome the stranded travelers.The musical follows the intertwined stories of both the locals and the plane people over the five days they spent together.

Through humor, compassion, and resilience, strangers became friends, and lives were changed forever.

Characters include a diverse array of real-life individuals: a female airline captain, a gay couple, a Muslim chef, and a mother desperate for news of her son in New York.With a cast of twelve actors playing multiple roles, Come From Away uses energetic music inspired by Newfoundlands folk traditions to capture the spirit of generosity and unity.

Rather than focusing on the tragedy, the show celebrates the kindness and humanity that emerged in its wake.Ultimately, Come From Away is a testament to the power of community and the enduring impact of compassion in times of crisis.
